David Tauler serves as Calvary’s worship director and is a gifted musician.
Favorite worship band: Israel and New Breed
How long have I attended Calvary: Since January 2015.
Something the average person doesn’t know about me: I am obsessed with pomegranates.
Favorite Bible verse: Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect”.
Personal Interests: I enjoy music (obviously!). Not only do I like to play music but I enjoy writing and arranging as well. I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations about God with anyone. I have a strange affinity for talents that most people ignore like ping pong and yo-yo tricks.
Strongest point in your ministry: Concerning our worship and arts ministry, we strive to praise God in a multicultural and multigenerational way.
Most embarrassing moment in ministry: I have accidentally sung the wrong words to a few songs while leading praise. Please forgive me for those times I sang false doctrine and heresy!
General Description: I made a decision to follow stop following my feelings and follow Jesus in 1992. On September 26, 2015, I married Su Yeon Lee-Tauler who has been my amazing friend and partner in my walk with Christ. I am working on a Masters of Divinity at The Southern Theological Seminary where I enjoy learning new things from the Bible almost every day. God has blessed me with some success in the music world having won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and Amateur Night at the World Famous Apollo Theater. I am semi-fluent in Korean and Spanish.
