Early Bird-through June 19-$224

*Full payment must be received by the deadline of June 19 to receive the Early Bird discount.

Regular Registration-June 20 through July 15-$254

Late Registration-July 16 through July 18-$284

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due for each child at time of registration.

Once the first child of a family is enrolled, subsequent siblings receive a $25 discount.

David Tauler

Director and Playwright

David Tauler has directed 13 children’s musicals and has written four including David & Goliath which was performed for the launch of Calvary Kids' Theater.

David plays over 30 instruments, speaks Korean, Spanish and English, and has won Amateur Night at the World Famous Apollo Theater in both the 2010 and 2011 seasons. David is also the 2007 Grand Prize and Lennon Award Winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for R&B.

David’s songwriting was featured in the 2010 off-Broadway production Faces—a drama about breast cancer where David’s song “Hear It in Your Dreams” (available on iTunes) served as the musical theme—earning him a feature on Washington FOX Morning News.

David received his Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Maryland in College Park and has studied theology at The Southern Theological Seminary. David served as the director of jazz at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School, as performing arts director at Montrose Christian School, and now serves as the worship and arts director at Calvary Baptist Church.

Kelsey Arrowood

Drama Director

Kelsey Arrowood is a life-long member of Calvary Baptist Church and a classically trained actress and teacher. Having graduated from The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts ART program in 2005, Kelsey then went on to study film in New York City at NYU’s Stonestreet Studios. Kelsey also worked as a casting assistant for a major talent agency. In 2008 she moved back to Virginia and taught speech and drama at Christ Chapel Academy. Kelsey was married in 2009 and welcomed their first baby girl in 2010, thus taking on her most important role, “mommy.” She now stays at home with her children and runs a successful photography business.

Jade Choi

Vocal Director

Jade Choi is a jazz vocalist, composer and instructor. Originally from South Korea, Jade received her bachelor’s from Humber College in Toronto and master’s in jazz studies from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. As a bandleader and sideman, Jade has performed on many stages including the Ottawa Jazz Festival, and New York’s Rockwood Music Hall and ShapeShifter Lab. As a resident of New York, Jade serves at the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church as a singer in the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Jade has taught music in a variety of settings ranging from New York City Public Schools to the Navajo Bita Hochee Youth Camp in Arizona. Jade believes that music is a powerful gift from God and, when used as God intended, can be a source of blessing and healing.


Harmony Barbour

Musical Theater Director

Harmony Barbour has, since the age of 16, been performing professionally as a singer, dancer and actress in a variety of venues: theme parks, Las Vegas, cruise ships and Broadway. She is also a graduate of Liberty University with a BA in Psychology. Currently Harmony is happily sharing her gifts and talents as a teacher/director/and producer at Christ Chapel Academy, Woodbridge, VA, where she has been teaching for the past 7 years. She has directed the Middle School and High School drama program where the students have performed highly acclaimed and popular musicals at a professional level. Harmony is passionate about inspiring and drawing out the gifts and talents of children who want to be onstage. Being able to incorporate Jesus into a theater world and inspire young people to follow their dreams, but still hold true to their morals, is her biggest and proudest achievement and accomplishment. Harmony is the mommy of four amazing kids and the wife of Adam Barbour who will also be participating in this summer’s Calvary Kids’ Theater.


Jill Jago

Director

Jill Jago is a director for The Castaways Repertory Theatre, an award-winning community theater troupe that performs in Woodbridge and the Town of Occoquan, Virginia. 

Ms. Jago directed productions for Murder on the Nile for The Castaways and When Shakespeare’s Ladies Meet for Woodbridge Senior High School where she has also assistant directed Our Town and The Addams Family Musical.

In addition to directing, Ms. Jago has extensive experience as a costume designer having costumed fourteen performances for Woodbridge High, including Return to the Forbidden PlanetThe WIZSeussical: The Musical, Little Women, and a steampunk version of Taming of the Shrew.

Ms. Jago is currently directing a new production of Taming of the Shrew for The Castaways which will premiere in the Town of Occoquan in late August.

Ms. Jago serves as a worship leader for Pathway Vineyard Church in Woodbridge. As a believer, Ms. Jago is excited to be involved in theater that will not only entertain but bring glory to God through its message.
