For the past twenty-six years, my family and I have lived just south of Washington, DC, in Northern Virginia, where I currently serve as Senior Pastor. Before this, we lived in Chicago. Over the years, I have held various positions in vocational ministry as a Children’s Pastor, a Youth Pastor, and a Pastor to Adults and Seniors. I have also served as a Pastor of Worship and Arts. Additionally, I have acted as a conference speaker, church planter, and briefly as a missionary. Many years ago, before serving in vocational ministry and holding the position of assistant to the president in a national corporation, I felt the call to full-time ministry. Eventually, this persuaded me to resign from my position, and this began my journey into theological scholarship through Bible college and seminary. Currently, I am also an adjunct professor at John J. Rawlins School of Divinity. My hobbies include music, reading, and walks on the beach. My wife, Cynthia, and I have four adult children, one son-in-law, one grandchild, and one grand-dog. First and foremost, my primary passion is for Christ. Secondly, my passion is for my wife and family. Thirdly, my passion is preaching and teaching.
