Cynthia has been an educator for over 38 years. She holds a B.S. in Special Education: Hearing Impaired and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy Emphasis. She has spent 17 years teaching deaf students, 10 years in Elementary Education and 11 years as a Reading Specialist. She served as an adjunct professor at George Mason University and has also served as a teacher trainer and literacy coach. Her philosophy of education is that all children can be successful when given a variety of strategies and approaches to learning.
Cynthia is a mother of four adult children and a grandmother of one. She enjoys spending time with her family and serving in ministry with her husband. She enjoys vacationing by the ocean, playing games, and relaxing with a good book.
Amy earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Liberty University. She has 6 years of experience teaching secondary math in a private Christian school, and enjoys mentoring students at Calvary in small groups and Sunday School classes. Her most rewarding teaching job has been at home with her 4 children the past 11 years. In her free time she enjoys cooking, puzzles, and going on adventures.
Todd currently serves as the Student Ministry Director at Calvary Baptist Church and the Head of School for Calvary Academy. He has over 20 years of experience in schools as both a teacher and administrator, including 2 years as an adjunct teacher at Logos Classical Academy in Lorton, Virginia.
Todd and his wife Diana have 6 awesome kids, and they love family trips to the Outer Banks and enjoying Duke basketball, Nationals baseball, and Capitals hockey!
